0.3.1 Release Notes

Our 0.3.1 release has provides six major fixes since our 0.3 release. See the Songbird 0.3 Release Notes for the complete set of 0.3 Major Bug Fixes and Known Issues.

NOTICE TO CURRENT (0.2.5 and older) USERS
Songbird 0.3 requires a new library format and profiles. As such, you won't be able to migrate your old 0.2.5 libraries and profiles to your new Songbird 0.3 installation. It is possible to install both Songbird 0.2.5 and 0.3 side-by-side to allow you to continue to access your old libraries and profiles while you setup your new Songbird 0.3 installation.Please see the following document for more information on how to do this, and for links to download prior Songbird 0.2.5 binaries for your system: http://wiki.songbirdnest.com/Docs/Songbird_0.2.5_to_0.3_Migration

NOTICE TO MAC USERS
Some Mac stability seen in our 0.2.5 release was lost due to a major XULRunner update in our application. Stay tuned for improvements in future releases.

MAJOR FEATURE BUG FIXES
The following Major Bugs were fixed with the 0.3.1 release:

• [Mac/Linux] Resizing Songbird can make it disappear/display weird (5286)
• [iContent-Disposition filename header are now quoted (5416)
• Bottom tabs made less ugly (5427)
• Find current track & play next track do not work for playlist/library (5490)
• First run dialog does not display list of add-ons or ok/cancel buttons (5493)
• Playlistplayback may overwrite wrong track on metadata update (5509)
