Live Dangerously

Want to try new features before anybody else? Every day the bird gets better. Download the latest nightly and report any issues you find. 
Nobody really knows how it happens, but every night, a new Bird is born with the updates of that day.  You can help test the latest builds.  These nightly builds can be unstable and contain unfinished functionality.  Your computer won't explode, but you might want to take a back-up of your profile and music files before getting started.
If that's just a little too crazy for you, you can wait for a beta or release candidate. Here, the functionality is almost completed and we want it thoroughly tested before releasing it to the world. However, we still recommend you take back-ups.

   ✓ Never downgrade your bird!  Songbird has scripts to convert your library to a greater bird, but not to a lesser.
