@Peder: but php is executed on the server side. How do you see it query to the User's Songbird installation? Maybe I'm missing something, but that would require very big enhancements in the architecture behind the API and probably expose security threats, as you'll probably will have to open a port for the communication (don't know much about networking though). edited 13:56, 8 Dec 2009
Well, the reason I was thinking about PHP was to have a better way to feed the music files to Songbird without having the info accessable by the public. The way it works now with JS anyone can access the music files by viewing the file that has the info about them. Anyway to hide this info using JS? :)
Seriously though... PHP support should really be added!
