Add-on Hosting

Everybody wants a roof over their head... a home if you will. Add-ons should be no different. If you're looking for a home for your über-cool add-on then check out some of the following sites for wicked hosting.

At a high level, they provide various forms of bug tracking, source code repository hosting, support (forums/lists), arbitrary webpage content, etc. etc.

We recommend mozdev.org as an awesome site. It's tightly focused on the Mozilla extension/add-on development community, and is the home for many well-known Mozilla extensions. Currently hosting over 250 projects, mozdev.org is an ideal home for Songbird extensions.

Other sites that are more generally applicable (without the Mozilla focus) are Google Code, Sourceforge, or ShareSource.
