Nightly Builds

We provide developers and early adopters with links to nightly builds of Songbird.  This is a great way to preview the latest improvements we're making and to test fixes to bugs that have been checked-in between releases. 

If you're downloading a nightly please don't expect things to work 100%.  We make them available to you so you can try things out and report any bugs that you find.  This process helps us ensure our final releases are the best they can be.  From time to time the releases linked to here are radioactive.  You've been warned!

Upgrading

If you are concerned about losing your old profile while testing a nightly (a distinct possibility), you can run Songbird -p to launch Songbird into Mozilla's profile manager dialog. More information about backing up or managing your profile may be found here: http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Profiles -- remember to use Songbird as the executable name and not Firefox!

Found a bug already? Not surprising! Go look on our Bugzilla site to see if someone has posted it before you. If not, make a new bug and we'll get right on it.
