Advocacy

Not a hacker?  or looking for less code-intensive ways to help out?  Then give us a hand by advocating and evangelising Songbird.  Keep in mind, Songbird is still a developer preview, so...

DON'T:

• install Songbird on your grandma's computer (unless your grandma pwns n00bs)
  
• install Songbird on all the computers at your school lab
• slap Songbird stickers on Apple advertisements (funny, but no seriously. don't.)

DO:

• volunteer to give a Songbird talk at a local open source user group
• present a Songbird talk or paper/preso at an open source conference or convention
• hand out Songbird stickers to your 31337 dev buddies

We don't have a formal organised plan to take over the world - but if there's an upcoming user group meeting or conference that's in your local area, and you plan to present a talk; get in touch with stevel and he'll get you hooked up with materials, and swag and put you down in the Events Calendar.
